Australian Dollars (AUD) is our default store currency.  The cart gives you the ability to display prices in US Dollars (USD), Great Britan Pounds (GBP) & the Euro (EUR). These currencies are for display purposes only! Although we update these regularly via a live feed, transactions will always be sent to the payment gateway in Australian Dollars (AUD). The payment gateway and the customer's bank will handle the exchange using live exchange rates which are not determined by designerbydesign.com.au 

If paying by credit card, the credit card you use must be your own.

All credit card/debit holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of the payment method refuses to authorise the payment, designerbydesign.com.au will not be held responsible for any non-delivery.

Your sensitive details submitted to designerbydesign.com.au are protected by a 128bit SSL GeoTrust certificate. This assures online visitors that confidential information and transactions cannot be intercepted, altered or viewed. 

To increase security your credit card details are only processed by our merchant bank and only the last 4 digits of your credit card number and expiry date are visible to our employees. To be sure that the details you are submitting are protected, please look for a padlock or a key symbol in the address bar or the lower right hand side of your browser when going through our online checkout this confirms you are entering your details in a secure environment. On a secure site such as ours, your information is scrambled into code, (encrypted) before being sent over the Internet, and stored on a secure database.

Also make sure the website has the company ABN displayed, most websites that do not have ABN (ours is located at the bottom of all our pages), and contact information readily available may have something to hide!

Before entering your payment details, ensure there is a padlock  or a key symbol , which are usually in the bottom corner of your screen that confirm you are entering your details in a secure environment. By also keeping your passwords secret and not sharing them with other people you are safeguarding yourself from a lot of fraudulent activity. If you believe someone has learned your password you should change it immediately to avoid any possible risks.
